Что такое level input
Некоторые усилители оснащаются так называемыми высокоуровневыми входами (High Level Input), мы о них уже упоминали, когда рассматривали возможности апгрейда штатных головных устройств. Их основное предназначение – подключение усилителя к головному устройству, у которого нет линейных выходов. Вместо них усилитель подключается к «колоночным» выходам.
Но что хорошего с того, если к дохлому и не блещущему качественным звуком усилителю головного устройства мы подключим еще один, внешний усилитель? Разве звук от этого станет лучше? Как это ни странно, но да, звучание действительно улучшится.
Все дело в том, что встроенный усилитель работает на динамики, которые всегда имеют невысокое сопротивление, обычно от 2 до 8 Ом. Следовательно, в его выходных каскадах протекают относительно приличные токи. Если же мы отсоединим от него динамики и подключим вместо них наш новый усилитель, высокоуровневые (high level) входы которого имеют уже гораздо большее сопротивление, то через выходные каскады встроенного будут течь уже гораздо меньшие токи. Усилителям штатного ГУ будет работаться намного «легче», и такое изменение режима их работы благотворно скажется и на качестве передаваемого ими сигнала.
Как это ни странно на первый взгляд, но штатный усилитель будет выдавать намного более качественный сигнал, если к нему подключить не динамики, а другой усилитель по высокоуровневым входам.
Внимание! Подключать усилитель можно только по одному из способов – либо по линейным входам, либо по высокоуровневым, но не по обоим

В штатном усилителе эти проблемы не решены, или решены с минимальными затратами, так как производители авто экономят, они в первую очередь продают средство передвижения, а не роскошь.
Помимо технических проблем усиления звука, есть еще проблема допплеровских искажений, возникающих в динамиках. Если упростить, то это примерно так: при ходе диффузора динамика на 10 мм на частоте 50 Гц, сигнал в 1000 Гц, воспроизводимый тем же динамиком, формируется с боковыми полосами 1050 и 950 Гц с интенсивностью порядка 2%. А это очень заметные искажения.
Поэтому низкие частоты должны формироваться отдельно от СЧ и ВЧ. То есть в системе должен быть сабвуфер, а в усилителе должен быть фильтр, срезающий низкие частоты с каналов СЧ и ВЧ.
Итого: внешний усилитель, подключенный к штатной магнитоле, позволяет существенно улучшить качество звука в автомашине.
Разумеется, штатную акустику нужно заменить.
В самом простом варианте используем схему 2.1, это фронт + сабвуфер:
В этом случае регулировкой баланса «перед-зад» в штатной магнитоле можно управлять уровнем сабвуфера, на некоторых треках сабвуфера бывает много, или наоборот, мало.
В завершение добавлю:
1. Проводились тесты lossy форматов, по которым архаичный MP3 уступал AAC. Если магнитола поддерживает более современный AAC, то лучше от MP3 отказаться. Формат MP3 был разработан в 1993 году, это было очень давно. Ну а если есть lossless формат FLAC, то тут и обсуждать нечего.
2. Временные задержки по каналам, это достаточно эгоистичная функция, Да, можно настроить вокруг водителя правильную сцену, но ведь для пассажиров сцена станет еще хуже, чем если бы сцена была посередине авто (без задержек).
3. Выпаивать линейный выход из штатной магнитолы не имеет смысла. Скорее всего колхозный линейный выход будет звучать так же, как и высокоуровневый, а может и хуже. И эта операция потребует работы квалифицированного специалиста. Проще уже смотреть в сторону замены штатной магнитолы. Возможно уже с встроенным приемлемым усилителем и встроенными фильтрами. А можно еще немного посмотреть, и добраться до поканального усиления, встроенных кроссоверов, временных задержек, и не 2.1, а 4.1, или 6.1., и т.п. и т.д.
В журнале Автозвук.рф описано много проектов, есть и проекты, где стоимость вложений в звук близка или превышает стоимость автомашины.
Совершенство в звуке недостижимо, главное вовремя остановиться.
