Sell time — лучшее время для продаж
Хочу рассказать об одном из секретов успешных продаж, называется он sell time, что можно перевести как «время продаж». Этот термин не так часто звучит на тренингах по продажам. Но от того насколько менеджеры и продавцы знают и применяют sell time во многом зависит успешность продаж в целом.
Что такое sell time
Sell time – это время когда продажи вырастают за счёт формирования хороших внешних условий для увеличения спроса. Простыми словами, спрос и продажи не бывают одинаковыми на протяжении дня/недели/месяца/года. Есть пиковые моменты спроса, есть серьёзные проседания. Это касается 99,9% каналов продаж, даже b2g сегмента. Само собой, выгодно активизировать все усилия, когда продавать проще, на периоды стагнации наоборот пытаться сократить издержки.
Примеры sell time
Для розничной торговли характерно ежедневное увеличение спроса по будням в вечернее время. Люди возвращаются с работы и у них появляется время на посещение магазинов. Так же в ритейле продажи вырастают на выходных, особенно это касается относительно дорогих товаров, к выбору которых клиент подходит основательно. То есть продукты мы можем купить и вечером, а вот бытовую технику и мебель мы пойдём покупать на выходных. Но даже вечером продажи по часам будут отличатся, где-то пик продаж длится с 19 до 20, где-то с 18 до 19.
В b2b продажах всё наоборот, sell time наступает утром и днём по будням. Весь деловой мир живёт с понедельника по пятницу, с 9 до 18. Исключения есть, но их не много. При этом есть деловой бизнес ритм, который так же влияет на продажи. К примеру, в понедельник до 10-11 часов утра офисные сотрудники разбирают почту и готовят отчётность, в это время им не удобно будет общаться с продавцами. Не забывайте, что с 13 до 15 проходят обеденные часы и с Вами не будут общаться, а после 17.00 сотрудники уже не больше думают о доме чем о работе.
Для определения лучшего времени для продаж необходимо знать своего клиента и его бизнес ритм. Джордан Белфорт для того чтобы дозвонится до ТОП менеджеров и владельцев бизнеса предлагал совершать звонки до 9 утра и после 19.00. Логика простая, руководители часто задерживаются на работе, в то время как секретари работают по четкому графику. И позвонив не в рабочее время вы сразу попадёте на ЛПР, обойдя барьер в виде секретаря.
Внешние факторы, влияющие на продажи
Я очень не люблю, когда сотрудники начинают рассказывать про внешние факторы, которые негативно влияют на продажи и в этом я не одинок. Большинство управленцев не переносят нытьё сотрудников и активно борются с этим. Логика мышления следующая – если нам где-то стало трудно, значит нужно больше работать. Хотя если работать активней, в то время, когда есть спрос, совокупно можно заработать больше. Это как плыть против течения или по течению. Встречая меньше сопротивления, вы будете плыть быстрее. Именно поэтому грамотный менеджер или продавец знает факторы и умеет их использовать для увеличения продаж.

Я перечислил лишь самые важные факторы, на самом деле на продажи влияет всё что влияет на поведение людей. Человек меняя поведение, меняет потребности это и влияет на спрос. Всё это и формирует рынок который есть на текущий момент. Важно понимать, что рынок меняется постоянно. Для этого вспомните магазины, в которые вы ходили 10, 20 и 30 лет назад. Разница лишь в том, что некоторые факторы легко прогнозируются, а некоторые почти невозможно предвидеть.
Как повысить результаты используя sell time
Большинство продавцов и руководителей знают все перечисленные выше факторы, но тем не менее не используют их. Почему я так считаю? Да потому что я ежедневно вижу, как кассир закрывает кассу в «час пик», как продавец курит на входе в магазин в семь часов вечера. Многие продавцы расслабляются, достигнув нужного результата, хотя ещё можно работать и зарабатывать. Эти люди не понимают, что лучше переработать, когда идёт поток клиентов, чем потом думать где найти покупателя. Эти люди не видят ценности в клиенте.
Я поражаюсь, но вполне нормальным считается что директор магазина работает по графику пять через два с выходными в субботу и воскресение. При том что основные продажи делаются, когда директора нет на работе. Во время боя капитан встаёт и говорит – моё рабочее время закончилось, мне пора домой. О каких результатах может идти речь, если по такому «бизнес ритму» живёт большинство руководителей.
Для того чтобы увеличить продажи используя sell time действия продавца и менеджера не будут отличатся. По сути задачи ровно две:
Обучением, мотивацией, организацией и другими важными делами нужно заниматься в другое время. Когда нет пика продаж. С пунктом один, как правило, проблем нет, вся трудность в пункте два. И основная трудность что мы хотим жить, как и все «нормальные люди». Ко мне приходят кандидаты на собеседовании и прямо так и говорят, что: «я хочу 5 через 2, как у всех нормальных людей». То есть при выборе между деньгами и отдыхом в удобное время, мы выбираем отдых.
