You can get email notifications about account compromises and check if your password was found in those breaches. And yes, all that while protecting your privacy. If you choose to register for email notifications, you will receive them when there is a breach. Also, if you check your passwords, a sublist is downloaded and your browser checks for your password in that list. That way, the website never gets your password, only your browser sees it. It is trusted by the security community, look it up, don’t trust my word 😉

Your post is quite vague. You will need to give more details as to the name of the app and exactly how you know your problem can be attributed to that particular app. Please include the age of your system, the type of security you are running, and how the malware was diagnosed.
