Question: Q: mail says sender address is invalid

Anybody else experiencing problems in iPad os 13.1 using email. sending mail to my family using addresses that I have used for years just gets me a message that the email address is invalid. very frustrating.

ipad mini is saying the same thing, and has been for approximately 2 weeks. even before the update that I installed last night hoping it would fix the issue. I’m able to receive email, but not able to receive anything.Veryfrustrationg as I no longer have an iphone. have to admit, you’re losing me apple, one piece at a time!

This worked for me:

Settings > Passwords and Accounts > Click on your email > Click on your email again at the top > Outgoing Mail Server > Click Primary Server which is at the top.

Now make sure the info on this screen is filled out. Username/password/use SSL/Authentication should be password/check that the Port # is correct. (You may need to check with your ISP for the number.)

Mine just keeps saying the server is unresponsive. It’s doing it on both my phone and iPad both updated to ios13.1. Never had this issue before, very frustrating. I’ve. Signed out and signed back in on both devices

I also can’t use the BCC or CC fields as the keyboard covers the fields. thankfully I haven’t updated my iPad mini so am using that. very frustrating.

And now when I go to Trash emails after selecting All some of them mysteriously uncheck themselves and I have to repeat the process. don’t even get me started about websites that are not sized properly or websites that load and then completely disappear and saved passwords not being available when I go to log in to a particular website. what a huge mess.

Thanks this worked but it was just one of my accounts that was struggling. I just needed to put in the username and password under the outgoing server settings
